Is credit card payment secure?
It certainly is as osCommerce.com.au uses 128bit SSL certificates from the Comodo Group. When you create your account, or if you wish to pay, you will see the browser url turn into : https://secure.oscommerce.com.au and a little padlock will appear on the bottom right hand corner of your screen. If you are still uncertain, you can select the BPay or Australian Bank Transfer option and we will invoice you manually.
Why dont you accept monthly payments for osCommerce Cart and Hosting.
All osCommerce services are purchased in advance on an annual basis. The work required to setup your account and the ongoing support and personal consultation you receive at the inital stages of your ecommerce venture with your account manager, makes it non-viable for osCommerce to offer monthly payments without a large setup fee. To avoid imposing a large setup fee to our customers, a non-refundable annual payment is the only option.
Payment Requirements for development work:
When osCommere performs development, web design, web marketing or shopping cart modification work, our payment policy is as follows:
Under $1,000
1. Full payment in advance required before osCommerce commences development.
Under $4,000
1. Deposit of 65% required before osCommerce commences development.
2. Payment of reminder 35% within 7 days of your shop gone into live production.
Under $10,000
1. Deposit of 50% required before osCommerce commences development.
2. Payment of 25% at a mutually agreed half way point.
3. Payment of reminder 25% within 7 days of your shop gone into live production.
